Safe Haven Education delivers training on domestic abuse and coercive control. In the course of training or consultancy, individuals may voluntarily disclose personal experiences relating to abuse.
Where such information is shared, it will be treated with strict confidentiality and handled sensitively. Safe Haven Education does not actively collect special category data unless it is voluntarily disclosed.
Information may only be shared where:
the individual has given explicit consent,
there is a safeguarding concern involving risk of serious harm, or
disclosure is required by law.

Enquiry and contact data: 2 years from last contact
Client and financial records: normally retained for 6 years in line with HMRC record-keeping requirements.
Newsletter subscriber data: until you unsubscribe
Training evaluation data: 3 years, in anonymised form after 12 months
Website analytics data: 26 months (standard Google Analytics retention)

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Request erasure of your data (the right to be forgotten)
Object to or restrict processing of your data
Withdraw consent at any time where consent is the legal basis for processing
